Top Ten Tuesday – Top Ten Books I Want To Reread

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is a freebie, so I looked at some past ones I missed out on and decided on the Top Ten Books I Want to Reread. I read so many books that sometimes I forget how great some of my past reads were. So with this list, I will set a pledge to reread these ten within the next year. So in no specific order her are my ten.

books

The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. I remember when I would wait until these came out and then devour them that day. I have not reread them for at least four years.

host

The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I know, I know, but this one is actually really good.

Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon. This one is my favorite of all the twenty plus Dark-Hunter books. It has so many feels.

Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward. Is it cheesy? Yes. Is it one small step up from fan fic? Yup. Do I love it so very very much? Oh, yes I do.

This Charming Man by Marian Keyes. I enjoy all of Keyes books, but this one is my favorite.

The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I remember feeling so cool and grown up when I was reading this one in high school. I have only reread it once in the twenty odd years since publication. I am interested to see if it is as good as I remember.

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. I know this just came out in April but I’ve been wanting to read it again.

Something Borrowed and Something Blue by Emily Giffin. I don’t know if I’ve ever reread these. I remember them as cute and fast reads.

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Adding The Secret History reminded me of my other high school favorite.

  1. I always want to re-read Harry Potter. I’ve re-read all of the books more than once… but if you ask me if I would do it again, I think my answer will always be YES!
The thing about re-reading is that I always feel kind of guilty when I do it, because there’s so many books out there that I want to read and so little time, that it feels like cheating to spend it reading something I’ve already read. I need the days to be 100 hours long… *sighs*
Anyway… Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day 🙂
