I am very thankful for the bookish internet friends I have made this year. I love being able to run an idea by someone, when we have read the same book without knowing it, blog hops and memes that we’ve joined. They have been great.
ARC’s. I am very thankful that I am chosen to receive advance copies of books. To me it means that my opinion is valued and I am grateful for the trust publishers and authors have in me.
Reading time. I love that my family realizes how important reading is to me and they give me time to indulge in books.
Author Tuesday has allowed me to meet some amazing authors! I love my little interview series and love that I can help introduce new authors to people.
My reading buddy Lucy. She is sitting curled up next to me right now. And Diet coke which keeps me going when I stay up too late reading.
My Kindle. I resisted getting one for years. For at least the last three years my hubs has asked me if I want one for the holidays and I said no. Now that I have one, I don’t know how I lasted without one.
My daughter. I love seeing her start to read books that I hold dear. She is just now getting into reading and I really hope she loves it like I do.
Half.com. I order from there about three times a year. I am able to get 40-50 books for around a hundred dollars. It helps me build my collection without being too draining on my wallet.
So that is my list of ten bookish things I’m thankful for. What are you thankful for this year?
