Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is Top Ten Books To Read If You Are In The Mood For X. I picked ones I read or re-read for all the feels. I love strong emotion in books, and for some reason YA books bring the most emotion to me. There is something about tragedy or first love in a teen that just gets to me. So in no particular order here are the top ten YA books I read for some emotional depth.

Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone – I ugly cried during this one.
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon – I connected with the main character very strongly.
Other Broken Things by C. Desir – A teen recovery tale with a lot of depth.
Reasons to Love a Nerd Like Me by Becky Jerams – A young man trying to find his place and love.
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli – This book has EVERYTHING.
Symptoms of Being Human by Jeff Garvin – This one made me think critically and feel at the same time.
The Year We Fell Apart by Emily Martin – I related with the main character and felt with her, not just for her.

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher – Like a punch to the gut, the feels were all there.
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell – I lived their relationship with them.
All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven – Emotionally draining in a great way.
